Peperomia 'Buenos Aires'

Peperomia 'Buenos Aires' is a popular houseplant, appreciated for its decorative leaves and easy care.

Care:

1. Light: Prefers moderate to intense, but filtered light. Avoid direct exposure to the sun, which can burn its leaves. An ideal place would be next to a window facing east or west.

2. Watering: Watering should be done moderately. Allow the soil to partially dry between waterings. Peperomia does not tolerate excess water, so avoid letting water sit in the saucer of the pot.

3. Humidity: It benefits from high humidity, but it also does well in medium humidity conditions. Occasional spraying can help, especially in the winter months when the air in the rooms is dry.

4. Temperature: It develops well at temperatures between 18-24°C. Avoid exposure to cold air currents or temperatures falling below 10°C.

5. Fertilization: Fertilize the plant once a month during the growing season (spring-summer) with a diluted fertilizer, especially for houseplants.

6. Repotting: Repotting is done as needed, usually once every two years, to replace the soil and to allow the plant to develop.

Note: The leaves of this plant are very brittle and can break during transport or handling.
