Magnolia 'Sunsation'

The flowers of Magnolia 'Sunsation' specimens are particularly large, shaped like a cup that opens wide to reveal inner petals of a pale yellow, almost cream. The outer color of the petals is truly remarkable – with shades ranging from pink to a deep coral red. Magnolia 'Sunsation' is a late-blooming variety, flowering towards the end of the season – thus the flowers are protected from late frosts.
