Magnolia stellata 'Rosea' is an ornamental shrub distinguished by star-shaped pink flowers that bloom in April, directly on the stem, before the leaves appear. It reaches a maximum height of 2-3 meters. Magnolia should not be pruned; if there are dry parts, these should be removed from the end of July until mid-August. It withstands low temperatures.
Magnolia is a plant that loves the sun but can also be grown in partial shade. Preferring warmth, it is cultivated at relatively low altitudes, up to 600 meters in height, and in sheltered places, preferably near buildings or walls.
