Magnolia 'George Henry Kern' H70 cm - flori parfumate
Magnolia 'George Henry Kern' is a remarkable hybrid shrub, resulting from the crossing of Magnolia stellata and Magnolia liliiflora. It stands out through its fragrant flowers, pale pink with 8 petals, which appear in April and can continue until June, offering one of the longest blooming periods among deciduous magnolias. The leaves are fresh green, elliptical, and densely cover the shrub during the full season. It grows slowly, reaching a height of about 3-4 meters and a width of up to 2.5-3 meters, making it ideal for small gardens or containers on terraces. It prefers slightly acidic or neutral, well-drained soils, and a sunny or partially shaded position, sheltered from strong winds. It is a hardy plant, easy to maintain, perfect for adding a touch of elegance and fragrance to any green space.
