Lonicera japonica 'Red World' - Japanese honeysuckle with red-violet flowers and evergreen foliage
Lonicera japonica ‘Red World’ is a striking and hardy variety of Japanese honeysuckle, noted for its tubular flowers in deep shades of purplish red and violet, with a pleasant scent and exotic appearance. It blooms abundantly from May to August, and its semi-evergreen foliage remains decorative even in the cold season in milder climates. In cases of extreme temperatures or weather events, the plants lose some of their leaves. Potted specimens may lose all their leaves.
It is a fast-growing and dense climbing plant, ideal for covering fences, trellises, walls, or pergolas, while also attracting butterflies and bees to the garden.

Garden or terrace plants are grown in unprotected spaces or with minimal protection (shade nets or hail nets). For this reason, naturally, they may not have perfect foliage – leaves may show marks, defects, or other damage.
In the autumn-winter season, plants are sold without leaves.
