Nerium Olander (Nerium Olander)
Leander is a popular ornamental shrub, known for its beauty and resistance, but also for its colorful flowers that bloom from spring to autumn.
Care:
Light: Prefer strong light, at least 6 hours a day.
Temperature: It is a plant that loves heat and resists drought well once established. It can tolerate low temperatures up to -5°C for short periods.
Watering : The golden rule is moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid stagnant water at the roots.
Soil: It needs a well-drained soil.
Fertilization: It can be fertilized in spring and summer with a special fertilizer for flowering plants, respecting the recommended dosage.
Pruning: Pruning can stimulate branching and flowering. Pruning after flowering is recommended to maintain a compact shape.
Wintering : In regions with cold winters, the leander must be brought indoors or adequately protected to survive the low temperatures.
Pot diameter: 21 cm
