Potted Lavender - Lavandula stoechas (Spanish Lavender, French Lavender)
Lavandula stoechas, known as French lavender, differs from common lavender by its flowers with colored "antennae." Adapted to Mediterranean regions, it prefers full sun and well-drained soils, having moderate cold tolerance, unlike Lavandula angustifolia, which is more frost-hardy. Stoechas is valued for its strong scent and decorative appearance, while angustifolia is favored for its aromatic oil.
Placement: The sunniest spot possible – be very careful with moisture if the plant is in a pot
