Lavender in pots - Lavandula stoechas (Spanish lavender, French Levantica)
Lavandula stoechas, known as French lavender, differs from classic lavender by its flowers with colored "antennae". Adapted to Mediterranean regions, it prefers full sun and well-drained soils, having a moderate cold tolerance, unlike Lavandula angustifolia, which is more resistant to cold. Stoechas is appreciated for its intense fragrance and decorative appearance, while angustifolia is preferred for its aromatic oil.
Placement: The sunniest place possible - great attention to humidity if the plant is in a pot
Watering: Being placed in sunny places, lavender requires more water (without flooding). It is watered 2-3 times a week, depending on the ambient temperature.
