Scented lavender XL - Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote'
Lavandula angustifolia Hidcote is a perennial plant of Mediterranean origin. Considered a shrub due to its lignified branches, lavender reaches maturity in 3-5 years and can easily reach the age of 50-60 years - western Europe is otherwise famous for its plantations up to 100 years old.
Lavender care instructions
Lavender lasts very well in the garden or plantations, being green all year round. The lavender culture becomes more and more vigorous from one year to the next, very good results being obtained after the first 2-3 years, when the plant becomes more vigorous.
Optimum planting period: Lavender can be planted from April to the end of October, being a plant that adapts easily.
Placement: The sunniest place possible - great attention to humidity if the plant is in a pot
Watering: Being placed in sunny places, lavender requires more water (without flooding). It is watered 2-3 times a week, depending on the ambient temperature.
