Kiwi - Actinidia deliciosa 'Atlas' (male pollinator) (D15cm)
Kiwi - Actinidia deliciosa 'Atlas' is a variety resistant to negative temperatures of -25 degrees Celsius.
Actinidia deliciosa 'Atlas' should be planted alongside any variety of Actinidia deliciosa (such as Hayward, Jenny, etc.) for superior pollination. Pollination between varieties partially changes the appearance of the fruits and significantly improves the harvest, even in the case of self-fertile varieties.
Cultivation recommendations: Cultivated on trellises/arches/fences, like a vine. We recommend you to choose an area sheltered from the wind, preferably next to a wall/fence with southern exposure. Actinidia deliciosa 'Atlas' appreciates heat and direct sun. The first cuts can be made 2 years after planting, at the end of winter or immediately after harvesting.
It does not require special soil (but prefers slightly acidic soil) and is resistant to diseases and pests, being naturally considered "pest free".
Height with pots included: approx. 40 cm. It varies depending on the season.
Pot size: 2 liters (D15cm)
Note: in the cold season, the plants are in vegetative rest, shortened and sold without leaves.
