Kiwi - Actinidia arguta 'Weiki' (male pollinator)
Kiwi - Actinidia Arguta 'Weiki' is a variety resistant to negative temperatures of -25 degrees Celsius.
Actinidia arguta 'Weiki' should be planted together with Actinidia arguta 'Issai', for superior pollination. Pollination between the 2 varieties partially changes the appearance of the fruits and significantly improves the harvest.
Cultivation recommendations: Cultivated on trellises/arches/fences, like a vine. We recommend you choose an area sheltered from the wind, preferably next to a wall/fence with southern exposure. Kiwi 'Weiki' appreciates heat and direct sun. The first cuts can be made 2 years after planting, at the end of winter or immediately after harvesting.
It does not require special soil (but prefers slightly acidic soil) and is resistant to diseases and pests, being naturally considered "pest free".
