Full description and specifications

Kiwi - Actinidia Arguta 'Issai' is a self-fertile variety, resistant to temperatures as low as -25 degrees Celsius.
Actinidia arguta 'Issai' is the result of a cross between two varieties Actinidia arguta and Actinidia polygama.

The fruits have a smooth skin, which makes them directly consumable, even with the peel still on them. Although they are small in size, they compensate with abundance - the yield is quite high and the growth is quite compact for a kiwi. The kiwi can be harvested in September. This variety produces the first fruits, usually in the first year after planting.

Cultivation recommendations: Grow on trellises/arcades/fences, like a vine. We recommend choosing an area sheltered from the wind, preferably near a wall/fence with southern exposure. Kiwi Issai appreciates heat and direct sun. The first cuttings can be made 2 years after planting, at the end of winter or immediately after harvest.

It does not require special soil (but prefers slightly acidic soil) and is resistant to diseases and pests, being considered naturally "pest free".
Pot diameter: 14 cm
Height with pot included: 40+ cm

In the cold season the plants are shortened and leafless.
