Hypoestes phyllostachya is popularly known as the freckle plant.
Location: bright but shaded place
Humidity: constantly water, spray.
Substrate: neutral Dutch peat or a very loose mixture
Propagation: by cuttings
Characteristics: The lack of humidity in the air leads to the drying of the tips and edges of the leaves. By repeatedly pinching the tips, branching occurs.
