Hoya griffithii is a species discovered in the mountainous regions of India and Burma (Myanmar). Its flowers are attractive, colored in shades that can vary between white and pink , with the central area darker in color .
The species was named after William Griffith, a British physician, botanist and naturalist who worked in British India in the 19th century. Griffith also collected many other Hoya species from the region.
