Gardenia Jasminoides 'Sweetheart' (rezista si in gradina)

Gardenia Jasminoides 'Sweetheart', also known as Gardenia of the Garden or Hardy Gardenia. It is a spectacular variety that can be grown both indoors and in the garden, provided it is planted in a place that offers protection from cold winter winds.

The flowers are equally special - delicate, very strongly scented, single and occasionally double or semi-double, in shades of white-cream-yellow. The color of the flowers changes as they mature.

The leaves are glossy, lance-shaped, and narrow.

At maturity, the plant reaches a height of about 100 cm. It grows compactly, in the form of a bush.

It withstands garden temperatures down to -10°C. Plant in a place sheltered from blizzards and drafts.
