Drosera Nidiformis, also known as Roa Cerului, is a fascinating insectivorous plant, also present in Romania, in protected areas. Drosera leaves look like tentacles with bristles. The plant secretes a sticky liquid that attracts the insects, causing them to remain attached, to be coiled by the plant's bristles and to be completely digested in a few days.

IMPORTANT: Insectivorous / carnivorous plants do not represent any kind of danger to humans. Their digestive juice is at most a good hand sanitizer!
