Drosera capensis 'Red' (wide leaf) - 3pp
Drosera capensis, also known as the Cape flytrap plant, is a carnivorous plant native to South Africa. This plant belongs to the Droseraceae family and is one of the most common and easy-to-care-for carnivorous plants.
The leaves of Drosera resemble tentacles with hairs. The plant secretes a sticky liquid that attracts insects, which then become stuck, are wrapped by the plant’s hairs, and are fully digested within a few days.
Height including pot: 15 cm
IMPORTANT: Insectivorous / carnivorous plants pose no danger to people. Their digestive juice is at most a good hand disinfectant!
The decorative pot is not included in the price.
