Dafin comestibil la ghiveci D14
Laurus nobilis, also known by the common names bay tree or laurel, is a fragrant evergreen shrub or tree from the Lauraceae family, native to Mediterranean regions. It is a plant with multiple uses – decorative, culinary, and medicinal – and is highly valued both in gardens and in pots, due to its dense foliage and elegant appearance.
🔹 Recommended growing conditions:
• Light: Prefers direct sunlight or bright partial shade. In overly shaded places, growth slows and the foliage becomes sparser.
• Soil: Fertile, well-drained, preferably slightly calcareous. It also tolerates poorer soils if they are airy and do not retain excess water.
• Watering: Moderate. Water regularly during the warm season, but allow the soil to dry partially between waterings. In winter, reduce watering, especially for plants kept indoors.
• Temperature: Hardy down to -5°C / -10°C, but in areas with harsh winters, protection or keeping in pots that can be moved is recommended. The plant prefers a warm and dry Mediterranean climate.
• Fertilizing: In spring and summer, a general-purpose fertilizer can be applied once a month to encourage leaf growth.
The plant height is measured including the pot.
The decorative pot is not included in the price.
