Clematis montana 'Tetrarose' is an extremely vigorous climbing clematis, known for its spectacular and abundant flowering in late spring , when it produces large, deep pink flowers with a golden-yellow center and a subtle sweet fragrance. It is the perfect choice to quickly cover pergolas, fences, walls or facades, providing a fairy-tale decoration in the garden.

Its stems lignify over time, and the bronze-reddish foliage in its young phase contributes to the decorative effect, even outside the flowering period.

Clematis montana and their hybrids are ideal plants for edging buildings or covering fences and walls. You have to keep in mind that they are vigorous plants. They will also look fabulous if they are allowed to climb large mature trees, as they would in the wild.
