Citrus medica var. digitata (Hand of Buddha)
Citrus medica var. digitata - nicknamed Hand of Buddha, due to the amazing appearance of the fruits. The fruits are similar to a hand, or even an octopus.
The variety comes from Indochina, being an ancient mutation of a Citron. The fruits are large and contain no juice at all - the pulp is sweet and the peel is very aromatic, leaving a pleasant balsamic taste.
Citrus medica var. digitata (Hand of Buddha) is grown and cared for like a normal lemon.
It is not recommended to be exposed to temperatures lower than 3°C. In cold greenhouses, it can withstand temperatures of -5 °C.
Note: There is a possibility that the fruits may fall during transport.
