Ceropegia 'Silver Glory' is a spectacular and decorative variety of the species Ceropegia woodii , popularly known as "String of Hearts" . This variety is appreciated for its special foliage, with a perfectly rounded shape and intense silver pattern, being an ideal plant for interior decoration, hanging pots or bright shelves.

🔹 Botanical characteristics:

Habit: Succulent plant with thin, flowing stems that can reach over 1 meter in length over time. It is ideal for hanging pots.

Leaves: Thick, fleshy, perfectly rounded heart -shaped, rounder than the classic form. The color is dark green with a shiny silver pattern , and the back of the leaf often has purple or violet-purple tones. The surface is slightly glossy and waxy.

Flowers: Appear occasionally, especially in summer, and are small, tubular, in shades of pink-purple , with a unique shape, like a small “trap.” Although interesting, the flowers are less decorative compared to the foliage.

🔹 Recommended growing conditions:

Light: Prefers bright indirect light . In good light, the silver pattern becomes more intense. It can also tolerate a few hours of mild sun in the morning or evening.

Watering: Reduced. Water only when the soil is completely dry , as the roots and tubers store water. Too much moisture can lead to root rot.

Soil: Very well drained. A mix for succulents or cacti is recommended, possibly with the addition of perlite or sand.

Temperature: It tolerates heat well, but cannot stand excessive cold. Keep indoors during the cold season (temperatures above 10°C).

Fertilization: It can be fertilized once a month during the warm season, with a diluted fertilizer for succulent plants.

🔹 Other information:

Propagation: Very easy, by stem or leaf cuttings rooted in water or directly in the substrate. The plant forms tubers at the nodes, which can be used for propagation.

Toxicity: Not considered toxic to humans or pets.

Maintenance: Minimal. Light pruning of the tips is recommended to stimulate branching and maintain a compact shape.

Ceropegia 'Silver Glory' is a modern and spectacular plant, suitable for both beginners and collectors who are passionate about succulents. With its round, silvery and elegant leaves, it brings a delicate and refined air to any interior space.
