Brighamia insignis (Hawaiian Palm Tree)

Brighamia insignis (Hawaiian Palm Tree) is a rare plant, protected in its native area.
The flowers are yellow and fragrant, appearing at the end of summer and can last for several weeks.
It has a reversed growing season, meaning it grows in winter and rests in summer. This is exactly the opposite of most plants we know.
Due to stress, the Hawaiian Palm can lose many leaves. Stress conditions include the sudden transition from winter to summer, too much water, as well as transport from the greenhouse to the store and then to your home. Yellowing leaves are a kind of self-defense mechanism of the plant. Shortly after losing leaves, it begins to produce new ones adapted to the new conditions.
Placement: in a bright area.
Watering: water about once a week, allowing the soil to dry between waterings. It is like a cactus, with a water reservoir and therefore can survive up to six weeks without water.
Temperature: optimal between 18-25 °C. Occasionally, it can tolerate very low temperatures, but not frost.

Note: This variety is sensitive and may lose foliage during or after transport. This is a normal phenomenon, and the plant will resume growth once it stabilizes.
