The red gooseberry Ribes uva-crispa 'Hinnonmaki Red' - very popular variety due to the high quality fruit, firm, crunchy and juicy, with a special aroma - the pulp is sweet and aromatic and the peel is sour. The fruits ripen in mid-summer, and the productivity is very high. It develops and fruits quickly, 1 year after planting. The fruit is suitable both for fresh consumption and for jams, jams or other preparations.

Ribes 'Hinnonmaki Red' prefers partially shaded, cooler locations. In the warm season, the plant appreciates additional irrigation. It grows upwards in the form of a vigorous bush, reaching up to 120 cm.

Self-fertile variety - does not require the planting of another specimen for pollination. It does not require special soil and is resistant to diseases and pests, being naturally considered "pest free". It withstands extreme temperatures, up to -35 °C
