The garden azalea or Japanese Rhododendron is a shrub, native to regions with mild winters in China, India, and Europe.
A fairly compact shrub, it grows up to a maximum of 80 cm in 10 years. It prefers slightly acidic, moist but well-drained compost and a semi-shaded position.
The azalea "Hino Crimson" is a hardy shrub, easy to grow, which will create a true spectacle wherever you plant it. The red flowers appear from early April until mid-June.

Azalea can be planted from spring until autumn, as long as the ground is not frozen. Planting should be done with the root ball (soil on roots), respecting its growth requirements.

Watering varies depending on the plant’s resting periods. During the growth period, watering is done in larger amounts so that the substrate remains constantly fresh.
