Full description and specifications
Citrus Orangequat Oceana is an intriguing member of the citrofortunella group - these plants, known as cool citrus, are hardier and more compact than their relatives. Known for their medium-sized acidic fruits, they are excellent plants, used for ornamental as well as practical purposes, their fruits being edible.
Orangequat is a cross between a Satsuma mandarin and a Meiwa kumquat, originally hybridized by Dr. Eugene May in 1932. The mandarin is an important citrus plant - it bears the only sweet fruit among the parent species.
