Full description and specifications
Remarkably cold-resistant, Kumquat Fortunella Margarita is the most common species of kumquat, having been introduced in the USA in 1885 and in Europe at the beginning of the 20th century
The most unusual feature of the Kumquat fruit is that it can be eaten whole, including the peel.
This, of course, is not recommended for many citrus varieties. Recently, kumquat has become a fashionable delicacy and can be used to make all kinds of preserves and marmalades.
