Schlumbergera is a species of cactus, similar to Rhipsalidopsis, popularly called "Christmas" or "Don't bother me. Schlumbergera thrives best in a bright place, up to semi-shade, in the summer it can be taken outside in a sheltered place.

It is sold as a plant without flowers, because it can remain without flowers until the order is shipped.
The color intensifies as the flowers mature.
