Sansevieria ‘Silver Spears’ is an elegant and modern variety of Sansevieria, also known as “Mother-in-law’s Tongue.” It stands out with its long, pointed, slender leaves with a distinct silvery-green hue, offering a sophisticated and minimalist look.

Main characteristics:

Leaves: Long, lance-shaped, with a smooth texture and a silvery shade, featuring subtle dark green edges.

Dimensions: Can reach up to 60-90 cm in height, depending on growing conditions.

Growth: Relatively slow but steady, growing vertically.

Stem: The plant has no visible stem; the leaves grow directly from underground rhizomes.

Growing conditions:

Light: Preferably moderate to bright indirect light, but also tolerates partial shade. Can even survive under artificial light.

Temperature: 15-30°C, but can tolerate wider variations. Sensitive to cold below 10°C.

Humidity: Low to moderate humidity, does not require misting.

Watering: Requires rare watering, only when the soil is completely dry (approximately once every 2-3 weeks in the warm season and once a month in winter). It is drought resistant.

Soil: Well-drained substrate, ideally a mix for cacti and succulents.

Care:

Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and maintain a healthy appearance.

Moderate fertilization, once every 2 months during the growing season, with a diluted fertilizer for succulents.

Repot every 2-3 years, when the roots completely fill the pot.

Sansevieria ‘Silver Spears’ is ideal for decorating modern spaces, being easy to maintain and having an elegant appearance, suitable for both homes and offices.

Due to its brittle leaves, this plant may show small defects caused by handling. These do not affect the health or development of the plant.
