Philodendron scandens ‘Brasil’ (3-4 plants/pot)

Philodendron scandens 'Brasil', also known as Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil', is a popular houseplant valued for its decorative, variegated leaves.

This plant belongs to the Araceae family and originates from the jungles of South America, which makes it suited to low light and high humidity conditions.

Care:

• Light: Prefers moderate, filtered light but can also adapt to low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.
• Watering: Water the plant when the top few centimeters of soil feel dry to the touch. Philodendron 'Brasil' prefers a moist environment but not waterlogged.
• Humidity: Tolerates any level of humidity.
• Soil: Prefers well-drained soil rich in organic matter.
• Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced fertilizer, diluted to half strength, once a month during the active growing period (spring-summer).
• Pruning: Can be pruned to control its shape and size. Prunings can also be used for propagation.
