Sansevieria trifasciata 'Black Hahnii'
Sansevieria is a plant native to Africa, Madagascar, and southern Asia, and is grown here as a houseplant. It thrives in heat and strong light but will also tolerate shade. It is important that it is cultivated in well-drained substrate and not overwatered.
Due to its brittle leaves, this plant may show small defects caused by handling. These do not affect the health or development of the plant.
In compact varieties of Sansevieria, the leaves grow very close to each other, and as they open, fine marks or small scars caused by friction, pressure, or temporary drying of the tissue may remain. These are not diseases, do not affect photosynthesis, and are considered natural growth characteristics.
