Philodendron maximum - ¡hojas gigantes!

Philodendron maximum - a large-sized botanical species, native to Bolivia, Ecuador, and Brazil, notable for its huge, green leaves with a textured, suede-like appearance and prominent veins. As the name suggests, it is a plant with very large leaves.

Adult specimens reach a height of 3 - 3.5 meters. An adult leaf can reach a length of 165 cm and a width of 100 cm in its natural environment. These dimensions are naturally reduced indoors, but it remains a plant with large leaves.

Growth habit: Climbing plant. It leans on nearby tree trunks and tends to develop strong aerial roots.
