Lonicera caerulea 'Wojtek', also commonly known as Siberian blueberry or honey berries. The white flowers appear in May, followed by long, green fruits that turn blue when ripe, similar to blueberries, with a sweet-tart, aromatic taste reminiscent of honey.
The lonicera fruits are very rich in vitamin C and antioxidants – about 5 times richer than blueberries. The Siberian blueberry can grow in any garden, in full sun or partial shade, and withstands temperatures down to -25 degrees Celsius.
Lonicera caerulea 'Wojtek' produces sweeter fruits compared to other varieties. The first fruits ripen in May.
