Drosera capensis 'Pink' (Роса на небето) D12
Drosera, also known as the Dew of Heaven, is a fascinating insect-eating plant, found in Romania in protected areas.
Drosera capensis uses a "flypaper" trapping mechanism to catch insects. When an insect lands on the plant's leaves, it is caught by the sticky liquid. The leaves then curl around the insect, which is later digested to provide essential nutrients to the plant.
Care:
- Light: Needs plenty of light, preferably direct sunlight.
- Water: Prefers distilled or rainwater and moist soil.
- Soil: Acidic soil, poor in nutrients.
Height including pot: 15 cm
IMPORTANT: Insect-eating / meat-eating plants pose no danger to people. Their digestive juice is at most a good hand disinfectant!
Decorative pot is not included in the price.
