Iedera - Hedera helix 'Wonder'
Hedera helix ‘Wonder’ is a vigorous variety of ivy (also known as English ivy), decorative with its green, glossy leaves with a characteristic lobed shape. It is an ideal plant for indoor or outdoor decoration, being easy to maintain and excellent as a climbing, creeping, or trailing plant.

Appearance and use:
Its green, persistent, and dense leaves create an excellent covering effect. The plant can be grown:

- In the garden, as ground cover or for shaded walls
Care and requirements:
- Light: indirect light or partial shade; also tolerates lower light.
- Watering: regular, allowing the substrate to partially dry between waterings.
- Humidity: medium to high; adapts easily.
- Substrate: universal, well-drained.
- Fertilization: monthly during March-September.
Outdoor cultivation:
Hedera helix ‘Wonder’ can also be grown in gardens in Romania, being frost-resistant down to approximately –20°C. It is recommended:
- Planting in the ground, at the base of fences, walls, or trees
- Semi-shaded or shaded positions
- Protecting the roots in the first years in regions with very harsh winters
Attention: In pots, it is advisable to move it to a protected space during winter, as the roots can freeze more easily.
