Phalaenopsis Brother Prince 'Hai Tony'
Phalaenopsis Brother Princess 'Hai Tony' is a highly appreciated and sought-after novelty Phalaenopsis hybrid, created by Brother Orchid Nursery (Taiwan) in 1988. It is famous for the unique artistic pattern of its flowers, which look as if they were hand-painted – a spectacular and exotic effect rarely seen!
The plant has a compact-medium growth, with broad, glossy dark green, vigorous leaves. The flowers are flat, about 6 cm in diameter, with a thick, glossy, and satin texture. The background is elegant pale cream or cream-white, densely sprinkled with intense burgundy/dark red spots and speckles, creating a beautiful and “hand-painted” contrast on each petal. It is a sequential bloomer – flowering successively over a long period, with long-lasting flowers.
