Philodendron 'Ring of Fire' - variegated form, considered extremely rare. The leaves display impressive variegation.
The plant was originally named 'Henderson's Pride' after the hybridizer Keith Henderson (Asiatica nursery).
Although the hybridizer has not revealed details about the plant's parents, it is assumed to be Philodendron Tortum (polypodioides) and Philodendron Wendlandii.

This variety has nectar-producing glands on the back of the leaves. The nectar's role is to attract ants searching for food - thus, the plant gains chemical substances secreted by them, but also benefits from the aggressive way ant colonies defend their territory and food source, protecting the philodendron from other harmful insects.

Sensitive foliage - stock specimens may also have leaves with defects/scars.
Note: The level of variegation differs from one plant to another, but all specimens exhibit specific variegation.  Plants will be chosen randomly.

Height with pot included approx. 25 cm

The decorative pot is not included in the price.
