BERETA® is an ecological insecto-acaricide treatment with a complex action, designed for the effective protection of crops against pests and fungal diseases. Its formula combines natural origin active ingredients – sulfur, paraffin oil, and potassium soap – for a dual action: combating insects and mites and preventing fungal diseases.

The product is ideal for use in organic farming, complying with European Regulation EC 848/2018.

Active substances:

• Sulfur powder – 40%

• Paraffin oil – 20%

• Potassium soap – 10%

• Glycerol – 5%

Main advantages:

• Effective pest control: quickly destroys mites, aphids, thrips, and other common crop pests.

• Strong antifungal effect: prevents and controls diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, anthracnose, and septoria.

• Combined action: ideal for mixed infestations (pests + fungal diseases).

• High compatibility: can be used on vegetables, fruit trees, grapevines, and ornamental plants.

• Environmentally safe: natural origin ingredients do not affect beneficial fauna and can be used in organic farming.

Pests controlled:

Common red mite (Tetranychus urticae), Rust mite (Phyllocoptruta oleivora), Thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis), Aphids (Myzus persicae, Aphis gossypii), Scale insects (Lepidosaphes ulmi, Parthenolecanium corni), Psyllids (Cacopsylla spp.).

Fungal diseases controlled:

Powdery mildew (Erysiphe spp.), Rust (Puccinia spp.), Anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp.), Septoria leaf spot (Septoria spp.).

Usage instructions:

• Apply by foliar spraying.

• General dose: 0.5% – 50 ml / 5–10 L water for 100 sqm.

• For fruit and vegetable crops: approx. 5 L/ha, in 2–4 treatments.

• Interval between treatments: 10–14 days.

• Can be applied preventively (from emergence) or at the appearance of the first symptoms.

• Shake well before use.

• Do not apply at temperatures above 30°C.

Compatibility:

BERETA® is compatible with most fertilizers and phytosanitary products, except oils and copper-based products.

It is recommended to perform a compatibility test before mixing.

For maximum efficiency, it can be used together with other products from the VITANA range.

Mode of action:

• Paraffin oil forms a thin film on leaves, stems, and pests, blocking their respiration and leading to death by suffocation. At the same time, it improves adhesion and distribution of the solution on the plant.

• Potassium soap destroys the protective layer of insects and mites, causing their dehydration, and acts as an adjuvant, increasing the product's efficiency.

• Sulfur has a natural fungicidal effect, inhibiting the development of fungal spores and protecting plants against diseases.

Practical recommendations:

• Apply treatments early in the morning or in the evening, avoiding hot periods.

• Ensure uniform coverage of the foliage, including the underside of the leaves.

• Can be used both preventively and curatively.
