Caladium White King (Aaron)

Caladium are tropical perennial plants with stunning, multicolored, heart-shaped leaves. Caladium leaves can be magnificent combinations of pink, green, red, and white. Caladiums are easy to care for as houseplants.

Care

1. Light: Caladium prefers bright locations but protected from direct sunlight. Too much light can burn the leaves, while lack of light leads to fading of the vibrant colors.
2. Watering: This plant requires consistently moist soil, but not waterlogged. Watering should be adjusted according to temperature and ambient humidity, increasing frequency during summer and reducing it during winter.
3. Temperature and humidity: Caladium thrives in high humidity conditions and temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. Avoid exposure to cold drafts or temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius.
4. Fertilizer: Fertilize the plant once a month during the active growth period (spring-summer) with a balanced water-soluble fertilizer.
5. Soil: Choose a soil rich in organic matter, with good drainage.

Caladium is a very sensitive plant to transport (especially temperature changes). Therefore, you may receive these plants with some leaf defects, but these do not affect the plant's viability. Under optimal care conditions, new leaves will develop normally.
