Begonia Maculata ‘Spotlight Dark’ (Polka Dot Begonia)
Begonia Maculata 'Spotlight Dark' is a particularly elegant and decorative variety of the Begonia maculata species, known for the spectacular contrast between the dark foliage and the silvery white spots that make it look painted. • Plant type: Tropical perennial, decorative with leaves
• Leaves: Lanceolate, with slightly wavy edges, very dark green to purple , dotted with silver-white spots ; the underside of the leaf is burgundy-red
• Flowers: Light pink to white, delicate, grouped in clusters, appear in spring-summer, but are not the main attraction.

• Light: Bright indirect light; direct sun can burn the leaves
• Temperature: Preferably above 18°C; does not tolerate cold and drafts
• Humidity: Medium to high; likes humid air, but without direct spraying of the leaves
• Watering: Regular, but moderate - the substrate should dry out partially between waterings
• Substrate: Aerated, well-drained - mixture of peat, perlite and soil for tropical plants
