Alocasia macrorrhiza 'Stingray' is a unique exotic plant, noted for its large leaves in the shape of a "sea cat's tail" - hence the name. The tip of the leaf extends into a pointed lobe, giving the plant a spectacular and unique appearance. It is an ideal choice for lovers of architectural design plants, suitable for both indoors and for protected terraces in summer.

🔹 Botanical characteristics:

• Plant type: herbaceous perennial, decorative through foliage

• Family: Araceae

• Leaves: deep green, glossy, with prominent veins and an elongated tip

• Habit: vertical, with long and thick petioles, green in color with pigmented areas

🔹 Growing conditions:

• Light: bright indirect light; avoid direct sun

• Optimum temperature: 18–28°C; sensitive to temperatures below 15°C

• Watering: moderate; keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged.

• Soil: well-drained, rich in organic matter (mixture for tropical plants)

• Humidity: high – prefers regular spraying or placement near a humidifier
