Philodendron 'Painted Lady' is a spectacular Philodendron cultivar, prized for its decorative leaves with a marbled pattern in shades of green, lime yellow and cream green, as well as for its brightly colored petioles ranging from reddish pink to red. As the leaves mature, the color may evolve, and the variegated pattern becomes increasingly interesting.

It is a climbing Philodendron that benefits from vertical support. Under good light, humidity and nutrition conditions, the plant can develop progressively larger leaves and a highly spectacular growth habit.

• Watering: moderate; water thoroughly, then allow the upper layer of the substrate to dry partially between waterings.

• Humidity: appreciates moderate to high atmospheric humidity, together with good air circulation.

• Temperature: prefers approximately 18-28°C. Avoid cold temperatures and cold drafts.

• Support: recommended. A stake or moss pole helps the plant develop mature leaves.

• Fertilization: moderate during the active growing period, using a fertilizer intended for tropical foliage plants.

• Cold tolerance: does not tolerate freezing temperatures; in Romania, it is grown as an indoor plant.
