Philodendron brandtianum is a tropical species prized for its elegant, heart-shaped leaves featuring a spectacular pattern in shades of green and metallic silver. It is commonly known as the Silver Leaf Philodendron, due to the silver marbling that can cover a large part of the leaf surface.

The plant has a climbing growth habit and can be grown either trailing or on a vertical support. When provided with a stake or moss pole and good growing conditions, the leaves can progressively become larger and more distinctly shaped.
