Full description and specifications

Hoya paziae is a fascinating species of Hoya, native to the Philippines, where it grows as an epiphyte in warm, humid forests. This variety is distinguished by its glossy dark green leaves, which take on a spectacular reddish hue when young, gradually turning into a deep green as it matures. Its flowers are true jewels: small, star-shaped, about 25 mm in diameter, white with delicate purple accents in the crown. They form in umbels of up to 20 flowers, emitting a sweet and pleasant fragrance that can persist for up to 7 days.

Hoya paziae has an upright, bushy growth habit. It prefers bright indirect light and a warm environment, with temperatures between 15-35°C, being considered an intermediate plant in terms of care requirements. It requires well-drained soil and moderate watering, with the frequency reduced in winter. It is a low-maintenance species - it needs light fertilization during the growing season. Previously known as Hoya sp. aff. paziae Philippines IML 1596, it attracts attention with its exotic beauty and adaptability to indoor conditions.
