Hoya krohniana - exemplare XL
Hoya krohniana is a species notable for its glossy, structured heart-shaped leaves with a silver splash. The flowers are creamy white, fluffy, and strongly fragrant, closely resembling those of Hoya lacunosa.
Like Hoya lacunosa, krohniana tends to bloom continuously throughout the warm season. The flowers last 4-7 days, depending on growing conditions.
Hoya krohniana was described as a distinct species in 2009; before that, it was known and sold as Hoya lacunosa 'Heart Leaf'. New leaves are heart-shaped, but as the plant matures, some variability appears, with some leaves changing shape.
The foliage takes on a very attractive appearance with burgundy—almost black—coloration when grown in strong light. Good lighting also promotes abundant flowering.
Fragrant flowers: YES
Note: The flowers, buds, peduncles, and vines are fragile and may be damaged during transport. Purchasing implies acceptance of this risk. The length of the vines varies from one specimen to another and depending on the season.
