Hoya fungii is a tropical plant native to Asia, also known as the "wax flower." It is valued for its large, thick, and glossy leaves and its fragrant, star-shaped flowers.

The plant grows as a vine, with stems that can stretch several meters in length. Under suitable light conditions, the stems produce aerial roots that help the plant cling to supports and grow upwards.

The leaves are dark green, elliptical or heart-shaped, with a glossy surface. Their size can reach 10-15 cm in length.

The flowers appear in spherical clusters, known as umbels. Each flower has five petals, white or cream in color, with a red or yellow center. The flowers are known for their sweet scent, which becomes stronger in the evening.

Caring for Hoya fungii involves exposure to bright light, but not to the strong midday sun. The plant prefers high humidity but needs well-drained soil to prevent root rot. Watering is done when the soil feels dry to the touch.

Common names: Our Lady’s Tear, Wax Flower, or Porcelain Flower.

Note: Stock specimens may have leaves/vines that are sunburned or show damage.
