Hoya dimorpha D9

Hoya dimorpha is a rare and interesting epiphytic species from Papua New Guinea (New Guinea), published in 1898. It is a vigorous Hoya with a trailing/climbing growth habit, valued for its distinctive yellow flowers and glossy leaves.

The plant produces long vines with lanceolate, glossy dark green leaves that are thick and slightly pubescent. The flowers appear in dense umbels of 15–25 blooms. They are small (1–1.5 cm in diameter), nearly flat, and range from light yellow to peachy, with a yellow corona (sometimes with subtle red accents in the center). They have a faint, difficult-to-describe fragrance – this is not one of the strongly scented varieties.
