Hoya bella
Hoya bella, commonly known as "Our Lady's Tear" or "Wax Flower". It is an epiphytic botanical species, endemic to Assam and Myanmar.
This plant has thin and flexible, hanging stems that can reach up to 1-1.5 meters in length. The leaves are small, fleshy, glossy, and intensely green, with an oval or elongated shape. Hoya bella is especially appreciated for its spectacular, star-shaped flowers, which appear in clusters, more frequently during the warm season.
The Hoya bella flowers have a star shape with five petals, about 1-2 cm in diameter, and are white, sometimes with a pink tint, with a pink-cyclamen center. The flowers emit a sweet fragrance, similar to the smell of vanilla or jasmine, which becomes more intense in the evening.
Hoya bella is an easy-to-care-for plant, ideal for growing in pots or hanging baskets. It prefers filtered or partial light, temperatures above 22°C, and high humidity. The soil should be well-drained and slightly moist, with moderate watering. During the active growth period, the plant can be fertilized once every two or three weeks with a diluted liquid fertilizer.
Note: Long vines may have mechanical defects/scars. Due to temperature variations, flowers may be lost during transport.
Vine length: approx. 30 cm
The ceramic pot is not included in the price.
