Full description and specifications

Hoya bella, popularly known as "Tear of Our Lady" or "Wax Flower". It is an epiphytic botanical species, endemic to Assam and Myanmar.

This plant has thin and flexible, hanging stems that can reach up to 1-1.5 meters in length. The leaves are small, fleshy, glossy and of an intense green color, having an oval or elongated shape. Hoya bella is especially appreciated for its spectacular, starry flowers, which appear in bunches, with greater frequency in the warm season.

Hoya bella flowers are star-shaped with five petals, with a diameter of approximately 1-2 cm, and are white, sometimes with a pink tint, with a cyclamen-pink center. The flowers emit a sweet fragrance, similar to the smell of vanilla or jasmine, which becomes more intense during the evening.

Hoya bella is an easy-to-maintain plant, ideal for growing in pots or hanging baskets. It prefers filtered or partial light, temperatures above 22°C and high humidity. The soil must be well drained and slightly moist, and the watering moderate. During the period of active growth, the plant can be fertilized once every two or three weeks with a diluted liquid fertilizer.

Note: Long lianas may show mechanical defects/scars. Due to temperature variations, flowers can be lost during transport.
