Cattleya schilleriana - botanical species discovered in the state of Espirito Santo in Brazil. This small species is epiphytic and grows on woody bushes on rocky walls, with water drains in summer and a river below, at altitudes from sea level to 800 meters. There is no rain between summer and autumn. The orchid has pseudobulbs that bear two apical leaves, elliptic-oblong, dark green above and reddish-purple below. It blooms with greater frequency in summer and autumn on a terminal, short stem, with 1 to 5 waxy, fragrant flowers, with the smell of honey and a long lifespan.
