Narcissus ‘Cragford’ is a daffodil from the Tazetta group, valued for its “bouquet” blooms: several small white flowers with a slightly wavy orange cup appear on each stem. It has a pleasant scent and looks spectacular planted in groups, in borders, or in pots, where it offers a rich and elegant effect.

🌱 Botanical characteristics

  • Botanical name: Narcissus (Tazetta Grp) ‘Cragford’

  • Type: Tazetta (usually several flowers per stem and fragrant)

  • Flowers: white, with an orange cup; usually 4–6 flowers per stem

  • Blooming: early spring (depending on the season’s progress)

💧 Growing and care conditions

  • Light: sun or partial shade; blooms more abundantly in good light

  • Soil/substrate: moderately fertile, well drained; avoid waterlogging

  • Watering: moderate during the growing season; reduced after flowering

  • Planting: autumn, at about 1.5–2 times the bulb’s depth (practical rule for daffodils)

  • Cold resistance (Romania): winters outdoors; in pots, light protection is useful during severe frosts

Advantages and uses

  • “Bouquet” effect (several flowers on each stem) and pleasant scent

  • Excellent for mass plantings, borders, under leafy shrubs, as well as for pots

  • Very beautiful also as a cut flower in spring arrangements
