Hoya burmanica

Hoya burmanica - an unusual species found in India (Assam), Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. It was first discovered in Myanmar (formerly Burma), from which its name originates.

The plant has an interesting, atypical growth, with peduncles appearing beneath the leaves. The flower color varies in shades of yellow, depending on growing conditions.

The flowers have a subtle lemon scent, stronger at night. The blooming period is generally during the warm months of the year, but spontaneous blooms can occur at other times as well.
